NEW YORK City--Finally, after three and a half years criss-crossing the globe, White Oak Dance Project will make a stop in New York City. The eight-member troupe, founded by Mikhail Baryshnikov, will perform two programs at the New York State Theater, March 1-6. While its early tours featured primarily choreography by Mark Morris, the current repertoire includes works by such eminences as Merce Cunningham, Hanya Holm, Jerome Robbins, and Twyla Tharp. Robbins will show a work in progress, set to music of J.S. Bach, and two novice ...
