The Navy Exchange System celebrated its 60th anniversary on April 1. Over the past 60 years, the Navy Exchange has worked diligently to fulfill its mission to provide quality goods and services at a savings and to support quality of life activities to its authorized patrons.
"The Navy Exchange System has been an important non-pay benefit for our Sailors and their families for 60 years," said CAPT George Avram, Vice Commander, Navy Exchange Service Command (NEXCOM). "We are part of the Navy and proudly serve alongside our service members wherever we're needed, just like we have been since the 1800s."
