Has anyone found my lost umbrella? Description: Black with a curved wooden handle.
I don't even bother with Lost and Found departments anymore. Locating a black umbrella from a storage area is like trying to pick your black travel bags from the Manchester airport luggage carousel.
I'm not sure which lasts longer: my average possession time of a new umbrella or David Blaine's ability to hold his breath underwater. Both come in at less than nine minutes.
Far be it from me to whine about too much rain, as many people suffered serious flood-related losses these past two months. But come on! I lost two umbrellas in less than a month, one of which ...
