PROJECT OVERVIEW

Malaysia-based GAMUDA BHD has been in negotiation with the ELECTRICITY GENERATING AUTHORITY OF THAILAND (EGAT) regarding the establishment of power tariff rates for nearly 2 years. According to Wong Mun Keong, GAMUDA Sr. General Manager (Business Development & Corporate Finance), his company had agreements with the Laos and Thai governments regarding the construction of the new hydropower plant to supply electricity to Thailand.
