Jul. 30--TechMan: Stereo speakers for the cost-conscious: QUESTION: DEAR TECHMAN: I am in the process of replacing an old Aiwa [stereo] combo unit. As components died, I replaced them -- first a Sony disc player (CE275), then a Yamaha RX396 2-channel receiver, and now, at last, the speakers must go. Various suggestions include Bose 301v's, Axiom M3V2's and the JBL Arena Venues. Could you suggest a nice pair of speakers in the $250 to $350 range? Thanks.
