Support of local farmers is growing, and to help keep the movement headed in the right direction, area cooks are encouraged to enter the 7th annual Food for Thought Recipe Contest.
Organized by REAP Food Group, the contest will award a $500 grand prize this year, along with several gift certificates to area restaurants and hotels for contest category winners.
"Sharing recipes is a real meaningful way of helping to build this movement," says Miriam Grunes, executive director of REAP.
