Chittagong, Aug. 1(UNB) - The weekly tea sale here Tuesday was marked by a strong demand following more demand from internal buyers particularly the Blenders/Packeteers.
As a result, prices were generally dearer particularly for brighter liquoring types, according to a market report.
There was some support from Pakisan for cleaner lines.
Good liquoring Dusts were once again a good market at firm rates.
CTC Leaf: 18,907 bags, 104 c/s, and (17 c/s, 1,388 bags of old season) on offer once again met with a strong demand at firm to slightly dearer rates.
