OPENWORK has lodged a high court writ against Home of Choice, alleging the new network has attempted to poach its franchisees.
On Monday, the multi-tied distributor -" formerly known as Zurich Advice Network -" claimed one of its business email accounts appeared to have been used by Home of Choice to approach its franchisees in a recruiting drive. The firm, which has financial backing from the Bank of Scotland, denied the allegation.
Openwork has asked the court to bar any further activity of this nature from taking place and named Gerry O'Brien and Richard Coulson as the directors of Home of Choice responsible for contacting its franchisees.
