After more than a year of fundraising and other preparation, 14 students involved in drama at St. Anthony Village High School are about to perform at one of the world's largest and loopiest theater festivals, the Edinburgh Festival Fringe in Edinburgh, Scotland.
Organizers expect the festival to feature nearly 17,000 performers in about 1,800 shows this year. Last year, more than 1.3 million tickets were sold. The St. Anthony group is one of two high school contingents from Minnesota, along with another from Eastview High School in Apple Valley.
