BRENTWOOD, Tenn. -- LifePoint Hospitals, Inc. (NASDAQ: LPNT) announced today that the Delaware Chancery Court granted LifePoint Hospitals' motion for summary judgment dismissing a lawsuit previously filed by a dissident stockholder attempting to nominate members to the LifePoint Hospitals' board of directors.
