NEW YORK - Charles Tyrwhitt is taking a large, easterly step in its effort to become a global presence in the apparel market.
In its first franchise venture to date, the London-based apparel and accessories company has entered into a partnership with Jashanmal National Co. LLC to begin opening stores in various locations across the Middle East.
"This is part of our five-year strategy to become a global brand, and franchising is integral to that," said Beverly Hill, licensing and wholesale director.
