Aug. 3--Van Roy at home with Theatre Company | The Bryan-College Station Eagle
In 2002, Amanda Van Roy played two of Broadway's most famous females: Sally Bowles in Cabaret and Mame Dennis in Mame. In 2003, she played the front end of a horse in Hello, Dolly. She's currently in Singin' in the Rain, one of dozens of roles she has had for The Theatre Company.
"The greatest thing about Amanda," said Mike Green, who knows her better than anyone except maybe his son, Michael, "is that she puts on a happy face every day. She doesn't care whether she is the star or in the chorus. She's always there, and she never complains."
