The addition of two small form factor pluggable (SFP) monitor ports to Net Optics' field-proven Port Aggregator Tap gives network managers greater flexibility when connecting monitoring devices to gigabit fiber networks. Tapping bi-directional traffic and aggregating it into a single flow makes is easier to connect IDS and IPS devices, which often have only a single NIC.
