The University of Detroit Mercy has named Ford Motor Co. veteran Hossein Nivi dean of its College of Business Administration.
He replaces Bahman Mirshab who had served as dean since the fall of 2002.
Mirshab left UDM at the end of June to become dean of the Cameron School of Business at the University of St. Thomas in Houston.
Nivi, 62, had served as dean and director of the Ford Design Institute in Dearborn for the past 10 years.
