Polish chemicals Police swings into Q2 net loss on natural-gas costs, as revenues are up

WARSAW. AUGUST 4. INTERFAX CENTRAL EUROPE - Polish chemical firm ZCh Police swung to a net loss of PLN 3.8 mln in the second quarter, versus a PLN 27.6 mln profit in the year-earlier period, chiefly on the back of high natural-gas prices that sent costs soaring, the company said in a statement Friday.

Police's revenues widened 2.7% over the prior-year period to PLN 451.1 mln.
