Aug. 5--EASLEY -- It's a tough job, but Jan Bruns is happy to do it.
Crammed in a van since Wednesday, she and husband Charles Bruns, both 70, have been driving across Missouri as a traveling support center for their daughter and son-in-law who are canoeing 340 miles on the Missouri River. "You meet 'em, you give 'em more Gatorade, you give 'em more Powerbars," said Jan Bruns, a St. Clair resident.
