BONTOC, Mountain Province - The over 4,000 students enrolled at the Mountain Province State Polytechnic College (MPSPC) are the luckiest among students enrolled at the various state colleges and universities (SUCs) in the country because the state-owned institution is the first to offer free tertiary education.
Dr. Nieves Dacyon, MPSPC president, said that the free tertiary education is one of the strategies in the campaign of the national government to combat poverty in rural areas.
She said that the free tuition, miscellaneous and other school fees offered by the institution is the first in the country. The benefits are ...
