GPM Gas Corp. has implemented a proprietary field automation control system that accurately monitors field operations while providing producers with up-to-the-minute production information. The gas gatherer, processor and marketer customized and integrated its existing SCADA, electronic flow measurement and radio telemetry systems into an automated gas monitoring system.
New Mexico is the proving ground for the system, the company said, but FACS is being implemented to upgrade operations and improve efficiencies in all GPM operating regions.
