Southwest Counties Form Group to Identify, Overcome Problems

BELIEVING IT'S TIME TO flex their regional muscle rather than work in isolation, a group of southwest Arkansas leaders has banded together to identify the region's problems and develop a strategy to overcome them.

Known as LIFT Southwest Arkansas, the group had an October kickoff meeting in Hope that drew about 200 people eager to participate in plotting the region's future. LIFT stands for Leadership Initiatives for Tomorrow.
