Martha M. Van Meter August 3, 2006
Martha M. Van Meter, 73, of Sheatree Lane, North Syracuse, died Thursday at her home following a lengthy illness. A native of Caine, AR, Mrs. Van Meter resided in the N. Syracuse area for most of her life. Martha was a 1955 graduate of St. Joseph's School of Nursing and later graduated cum laude in 1973 with a master's degree in psychology from Syracuse University. She retired in 1994 after 20 years as a psychiatric nurse counselor at Hutchings Psychiatric Center. She was predeceased by her husband, Lloyd, in 1997 and her daughter, Elizabeth, in 1993.
Surviving are her daughter, Laura, and her husband Robert Van ...
