Aug. 8--AirTran Airways is bringing back its popular seasonal nonstop service to Fort Myers, Fla., this winter. The airline began the seasonal nonstop daily service last winter. On Monday, the Orlando-based airline said it would bring back the nonstop flight from Akron-Canton Airport to Fort Myers on Dec. 21. The Florida city is a popular winter destination for Northeast Ohio residents, particularly senior citizens.
