Aug. 8--KUWAIT -- The fire services received a number of calls recently, the most notable of which involved a 14-year old Kuwaiti locked in the bathroom of his house. The only two persons present-his mother and a maid-could not let him out. Qurain fire department broke open the door and let the boy out.

In another incident, a Kuwaiti lady was locked in a room in her daughter's house in Zahra. The lady fainted, but was treated at the scene. She was very shaken by the event and refused to go to hospital.
