Aug. 8--More than 1.8 million people are expected to take a trip in an RV this summer, according to a national association of RV owners.
But by this time next year, there may be little room at the inn for them in tourist-centric Bend.
The prospective buyers of Crown Villa RV Resort on Brosterhous Road -- one of only two major RV parks left in the city -- have filed plans with the city to bulldoze it to make way for a 99-home subdivision.
The plans are on hold while the land's current owners try to hash out a deal with the city over sewer capacity.
