Barry Sanders, no longer the NFL's leading rusher, now leads the league's running backs in the all too important financial ledgers.
Sanders, who is out for the season with an injury, recently signed a four-year, $17.2 million contract with the Detroit Lions that will pay him an average of $4.3 million a year, agent C. Lamont Smith said.
