Aug. 10--SUFFOLK -- Farmers and entrepreneurs interested in making their own biodiesel were warned to play it safe, and don't be surprised if you accidentally make soap instead. Biodiesel's ingredients are similar to the lye soap farmers used to churn out years ago, said Chuck McCarty, one of the speakers at Wednesday's biodiesel workshop in the Holland area of Suffolk.
