SAUGUS -- It will soon be a smoother drive along the worn Bouquet Canyon Road after $1.4 million is spent beginning in October on part of the bustling thoroughfare.
A 1.5-mile stretch of the roadway, from Vasquez Canyon Road to Shadow Valley Lane near Los Angeles County Probation Department's Camp Scudder, will be resurfaced and reconstructed to make it last longer. On Tuesday the Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors approved the street project, expected to be complete in February 2007.
