Passion and work are two words that don't always go together.
But for Karen Hill, co-owner of the Charlotte Amalie Inn, in Peterboro, the words are interchangeable.
In 2002, after working more than 30 years as a flight attendant for US Airways, Hill, 59, decided it was time to combine her passions for interior design, good food and entertaining. Already the owner of an 1820s-era Georgian mansion, Hill and her husband, Thomas, took a look around their sprawling property and made a life-altering choice.
