Aug 10, 2006 (The Australian Financial Review - ABIX via COMTEX) -- The International Accounting Standards Board (IASB) has been criticised for focusing excessively on the private sector. Standard-setting bodies in nations including New Zealand, Australia, Canada and the UK have called on the IASB and the Financial Accounting Standards Board to take the public sector and non-profit organisations into consideration.
