Aug. 12--ois Erickson is a sound sleeper. So sound, in fact, that the Cloquet woman, 74, didn't wake when neighbor and family friend Lindsay Clark began pounding furiously on her door with fists and feet at 5 a.m. Thursday. It was no more than two minutes before Erickson awoke, though it seemed like an eternity to Clark. And when Erickson did stumble to the door, still groggy from sleep, she didn't realize that her home was burning. She wanted to go back in for her robe, but Clark wouldn't let her.
