CLASH BETWEEN POLICE, MILITANT GROUP OUTSIDE NALCHIK GOES ON
NALCHIK. Aug 12 (Interfax) - An armed clash between a police unit and an illegal armed group is continuing in the community of Khasanya outside Nalchik, the center of the Russian North Caucasus republic of Kabardino-Balkaria.
Special police, Federal Security Service (FSB), and antiterrorist forces have been brought to the scene, a source with the local FSB department told Interfax.
