Aug. 13--Green Lake -- The "official" detour near this popular summer vacation spot lends new urgency to that classic travel question: Are we there yet? The detour sends travelers more than an hour out of their way and through portions of three counties, causing havoc for patrons of Green Lake's hotels, golf courses and other tourism-oriented businesses. The kicker: there is a far more simple way around the construction.
