Aug. 13--Greg Anderson spent last week in his North Carolina shop looking for a little more horsepower. He may have found it near home.
Anderson, a 1979 Duluth Denfeld graduate, topped National Hot Rod Association Pro Stock division qualifying Saturday with a 6.73-second, 204.2 mph run at Brainerd International Raceway and Resort. It was the fastest pass of the two-day qualifying session, qualifying Anderson No. 1 for today's finals.
