Aug. 13--The direct financial damage to factories in Haifa and northern Israel is NIS 4.3 billion to date, mostly from lost production and for employees' overtime pay to make up for it when the war is over, the Manufacturers Association of Israel reports. The estimate is based on estimates from enterprises, and does not include indirect damage, such as lost future orders and customers, or physical damage to plants.
