CALGARY, Aug. 14 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Bankers Petroleum Ltd. (TSX: BNK, AIM: BNK) today announced significantly improved second quarter results. Revenue for the quarter more than doubled to $7.4 million compared to $3.0 million in the second quarter of 2005. Funds from operations was $3.3 million, compared to cash used in operations of $200,000 for the comparable period in 2005.
