One specialist area of property investment where profitability has been steadily improving is commercial forestry. Returns on UK forestry investments are currently at their highest levels for 10 years, posting a total return of 14.4 per cent for 2005, a 5.1 per cent increase on the previous year's result and the highest return since the index began in 1992.
