When this season started, Syracuse SkyChiefs pitcher Jordan De Jong had no idea how to get from Manchester, N.H., to Syracuse.
And now? Let's just say he no longer needs Mapquest.
"At first I needed directions," De Jong said, smiling. "Now I just hit the road and 5 1/2 hours later I'm here."
De Jong has made the trip from Manchester to Syracuse seven times this season as he has bounced between Double-A New Hampshire and Triple-A Syracuse. He made his most recent trip Friday, and on Saturday he earned the win as the SkyChiefs downed the Ottawa Lynx 7-1 at Alliance Bank Stadium.
De Jong tossed ...
