Control Module, Enfield, Conn., a biometric workforce management and data collection technology provider, has announced the addition of wireless LAN functionality for its Genus line of terminals. As such, CMI's Genus I and Genus II terminals can now be connected to a company's systems using the 802.11 wireless access standard.
As organizations look to upgrade their technology systems, it often becomes difficult to rewire their facilities. The use of wireless LAN functionality eliminates the need for costly and intrusive Ethernet cable runs.
