Two major insurers have recently added to their employee-benefits accidental death and dismemberment group product offerings.
Chubb Group of Insurance Cos. has expanded its benefits offerings to cover certain costs of burglaries, break-ins and child abductions.
The coverage is designed to supplement standard health and homeowners insurance. It pays up to $50,000 for medical expenses, including psychological therapy, and wages lost while recovering from trauma.
