Yangtze Power's H1 net profits down 6.81% to RMB 1.32 bln
Shanghai. August 15. INTERFAX-CHINA - The Yangtze Power Corporation, China's largest hydropower generator listed on the Shanghai Stock Exchange, reported that its net profits in the first six months of the year were down 6.81% year-on-year to RMB 1.32 bln (USD 164.75 mln).
The company blamed the shrinking profits on bad water flows on the Yangtze River coupled with the operation of three new generators at the Three Gorges Power Plant.
