NEW YORK-WestPoint Home said last week it will buy a Middle Eastern textiles mill as it rapidly tries to move production offshore and away from its longtime domestic manufacturing base.
While WestPoint has been admittedly slower than its competitors in shifting production overseas, this move gets it a big step closer to being a world-class producer.
The letter of intent signed last week is for the home textiles assets of Manama Textile Mills, a company
