Sinopec and National Coal collaborate on DME project in Ordos
Shanghai. August 16. INTERFAX-CHINA - Sinopec and China National Coal are to collaborate on a 3-mln-ton per year coal-to-dimethyl ether (DME) project in Ordos, Inner Mongolia, which may become the largest of its kind in China.
Sinopec and China National Coal will each have a 32.5% stake in the massive project and the Shanghai energy producer Shenergy, the China Yintai Investment Corporation and the Inner Mongolia Manshi Coal Group will share the remainder, said the National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC), the nation's industrial watchdog, on its website.
