Should politics or religion crop up during a family holiday get-together, chances are that opinions c will vary. In an hvarc crowd, the same holds true when you toss out the word "moonlighting."
Just now much moonlight is shining on the industry is anyone's guess.
Based on a recent telephone survey of contractors around the U.S., the status of moonlighting is unclear. It's neither nonexistent, nor running rampant.
"It's gotten worse," commented Warren Lupson, owner, Beltway Heating and Air Conditioning, Inc., Beltsville, Md. "One reason we're seeing it happens is that people are getting laid off and working out of their homes."
