Robert Walts is concerned about the scars on his knees.
He's more concerned about the emotional scars his 3-year-old daughter might have after the pair was attacked Monday night by at least three pit bulls during their regular weekly walk through the Salt Springs neighborhood.
The little girl watched as three pit bulls were shot and killed by her rescuers. Another dog was shot and injured.
"Her first question (after the shooting) was: "Why do dogs become bad, dad? And are they going to come back (to life) and be good dogs?"' Walts said.
