LOS ANGELES, March 31 /PRNewswire/ -- The Samuel Goldwyn Co. will partner with Playhouse Pictures Inc., a newly formed subsidiary of American Playhouse, it was announced today by Tom Rothman, president of Worldwide Production. Playhouse Pictures will produce 15 feature films over the next three years, which Goldwyn will distribute worldwide. Together, the two companies plan to commit up to $70 million to the venture in production and releasing costs.
