Lack of competition may hamper chances, fears Akhil Kumar
Colombo, Aug 17 (PTI) Lack of international exposure may hamper the performance of the Indian pugilists at the 10th South Asian Games here, top boxer Akhil Kumar said here today.
Indians are taking part in their first international outing since the Commonwealth Games in Melbourne in March and Akhil Kumar, a medal prospect in the 54kg bantamweight class, wondered if the untested boxers would be able to give their best in boxing, which kicks off on August 19 at the Sugathadasa Indoor Stadium.
