Fitch Revises Country Ceilings for 40 countries, including Russia (Part 2)

LONDON. Aug 17 (Interfax) - Fitch Ratings has revised upwards the Country Ceilings for 40 countries, including Russia and a number of other FSU republics, the agency said in a press release.

Russia's Country Ceiling was revised to 'A-' (A minus) from 'BBB+'.

In addition, Armenia was revised to 'BB' from 'BB-' (BB minus), Estonia to 'AA' from 'AA-' (AA minus), Kazakhstan to 'BBB+' from BBB, Latvia to 'AA-' (AA minus) from 'A+' and Lithuania to 'AA-' (AA minus) from 'A+'.
