BAFANA BAFANA'S first steps to 2010 as Wednesday's friendly match against Namibia was billed were rather shaky but before we get to the negatives let's have a quick glance at the up side of the scrappy 1-0 win.

I say quick because after agreeing with many pundits that Nasief Morris stood head and shoulders above the rest there's going to be precious little to enthuse over.

Granted, 2010 is far off but Bafana need to be ready and fighting fit for the qualifiers for the 2008 African Nations Cup - the first of which is a tough encounter against Congo in Johannesburg on September 2.
