Aug. 16--ATLANTIC CORP. has acquired Prestige Label Co. of Burgaw, expanding Atlantic's manufactured packaging products group. Prestige employs 45 people making tags and labels. It has expanded into printing film products such as shrink sleeves and shrink bands for the bottling and beverage industry.
Atlantic President Russell Carter said in a statement, "Prestige's state-of-the-art flexo and digital label manufacturing operation and their proximity to our Tabor City printing company and our Wilmington headquarters make them an ideal fit for us."
