IF YOU'RE LOOKING for new marinades, the North American Olive Oil Association has some ideas:
Lemon Olive Oil Garlic Marinade: Combine 1 tablespoon grated lemon peel, cup fresh lemon juice, cup pure or extra virgin olive oil, 2 tablespoons finely chopped green onion, 1 teaspoon brown sugar, teaspoon lemon pepper seasoning and 2 cloves of minced garlic. Makes enough marinade for 4 to 6 servings of vegetables, chicken, pork, fish or shellfish.
