Aug. 19--Part of a Seymour church's plan to increase its outreach to youth will become a reality with the Sept. 5 opening of a day care center. Central Christian Church's new center also will help fill a need for day care in the area, director Phyllis Hancock said. "There are not as many day cares around here as there were where I came from," said Hancock, who recently moved to the area when her husband took a job at Columbus. She has spent the past 15 years in day care in Illinois and Wisconsin before she and her husband moved to North Vernon.
